Orphanage

An orphanage was established in 1895 in the name of Shah Khalilur Rahman, the 40th descendant of Barapir Abdul Quader Jilani (R), Sardar of 360 Auliya. In this orphanage there are about 300 poor helpless orphans. It runs on the zakat money of the members of the society and the money collected from various sources. The orphanage was established by the late Mr. Shah Mozammel Hossain Al Qaderi. In his absence, his younger brother Shah Abdul Mannan Qadri is now in charge.

The orphanage is located at Nandanpur village in Dakshin Hamchadi union of Laxmipur Sadar upazila, next to Dalalbazar-Ramganj road.
